Terms of Use — Today's Load

Effective date: 9 October 2026 (previous version: 7 October 2026)

These terms are the agreement between you and 14past3 d.o.o., Slovenia (14past3.com) for use of the Today's Load app. By using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

1. What Today's Load is — and what it is not

Today's Load records the beat-to-beat intervals of your heart during a 12-minute protocol and turns them into a daily training decision, with the reasons shown to you.

Today's Load is a training tool. It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and nothing it shows you is medical advice. A reading describes your autonomic regulation this morning — nothing more. It cannot see illness, injury, glycogen, muscle damage, hydration or anything else about you.

Never use Today's Load to make a medical decision. If you feel unwell, if something hurts, or if a symptom worries you, speak to a doctor — whatever the app says that day. If you have a heart condition, an arrhythmia, are pregnant, or are under medical supervision, talk to your doctor before using an app like this to guide training.

You decide what you do. Today's Load is one input. Your own judgement, your coach and your doctor come first, and you are responsible for the training you choose to do.

2. Who may use it

You must be 16 or older. Today's Load is not directed at children and must not be used by anyone under 16. You need a chest strap that reports beat-to-beat intervals, an Apple ID for sign-in, and an internet connection for a measurement to be scored.

3. Your account

You sign in with Apple. We request no name and no email — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what we hold. Keep access to your Apple ID secure; anyone who can sign in as you can see your measurements. You can delete your account and everything in it from inside the app, at any time, and the deletion is immediate and permanent. The one exception: copies you chose to contribute to improving the method stay, with nothing that connects them to you (see section 9 and the Privacy Policy).

4. Getting a usable measurement is your part of the bargain

The protocol only works if it is followed: the right strap, worn properly, the positions and the paced breathing as instructed, and stillness while recording. When the signal or the protocol is not good enough, Today's Load refuses to give you a decision rather than guessing — that refusal is the app working correctly, not a fault.

5. Price

Today's Load is currently free. If we introduce paid features, we will update these terms first, and:

6. The AI analysis

The app can show a short plain-English analysis written by an AI model. It is optional, and it runs only when you tap *Analyse*. The decision is always produced by our own analysis engine; the AI only puts it into words and never decides anything. AI text can still be imprecise. Where the AI analysis and the engine's own result appear to disagree, the engine's result is what the app means. You can switch the feature off in Profile.

7. What you may not do

Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile or extract our analysis engine; do not use the app or its API in any way except through the app itself; do not attempt to access anyone else's data; do not use the service unlawfully; do not resell or redistribute what the app produces as if it were your own product.

8. Our content and yours

The app, its design and its analysis engine belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other rights. Nothing here transfers them to you; you get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app.

Your measurements are yours. We claim no ownership of them. We hold them to give you your own results, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can delete them in the app, and ask us for a copy at any time.

9. Improving the method

If you choose to let us keep copies of your 12-minute measurements (Profile → *Help improve the method*), you allow us to use them, without anything that identifies you, to find problems and improve the method. What a copy holds, and how to have it deleted, is in the Privacy Policy. Saying no changes nothing else in the app. Improvements we make to the method belong to us.

10. Availability

We try to keep the service running but do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we will give reasonable notice for anything that materially affects you.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or under mandatory consumer-protection law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected by these terms.

Subject to that, and to the maximum extent the law allows: we provide the app "as is"; we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost training time, lost performance, or any injury or health outcome arising from a training decision you made; and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose and 50 euros.

12. Ending the agreement

You can stop at any time by deleting your account and removing the app. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms; if we do, you can still delete your data.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Slovenia, and the courts of Slovenia have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of your own country and may bring proceedings there. Information about consumer dispute resolution in the EU is available from the European Commission's Consumer Redress portal.

14. Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, the app will tell you before the change applies to you. The current version always lives at this address.
